The AICPA sets generally accepted professional and technical standards for CPAs in many areas. Until the 1970s, the AICPA held a virtual monopoly in this field. In the 1970s, however, it transferred its responsibility for setting generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to the newly formed Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB.) Following this, it retained its standards setting function in areas such as financial statement auditing, professional ethics, attest services, CPA firm quality control, CPA tax practice and financial planning practice. Before passage of the Sarbanes Oxley law, AICPA standards in these areas were considered “generally accepted” for all CPA practitioners.

Because of the many things that I wanted to incorporate in this house, I just could not seem to organize my self anymore. It is perfect that I could finally get the weekend off and I could make sure that things would be looked into in the house. Well, I got the braided rugs and it would be perfect. I am making sure that the braided rugs are going to so well. I am just making things work. Hopefully, the braided rugs will add more life and some bubbly element in my house. I was studying for my LEED Green Associate exam and I have found that the exam will be a very difficult test. It consists of 100 multiple choice question and answer test that is timed. There is a great deal of pressure when taking this particular test. I would like to attain my leed certification, but must get past the training and exams to get it. After achieving my goal of LEED Green Associate, I think I will pursue a career in the LEED AP Neighborhood Development. My friend, George, has pursued and completed his study in LEED AP Building Design & Construction.
