When the Christchurch function centre was first drawn to our attention we didn’t know what to think. We had this function to put on and there were a lot of people to invite to it. We are a big family and we wanted to make a good impression in the Garden City where we have all grown up and opened businesses. So our function needed to be good for food, speeches and some entertainment at the end. We looked around and while there were some venues suitable for a function of our size, none of them had a view that we liked. Until we found the perfect venue, near the Port Hills, overlooking the city and with lots of parking for guests. We held the evening there and were very happy with it.

I don’t know how long I’ve lived with really dingy teeth, but I do know that it’s been long enough that it has seriously affected my social life. I used to find it really hard to get dates and I was wondering why because I have a really good job and drive a nice car and I’m pretty good-looking otherwise. My wife I went to look for new carpeting last week. The carpeting in our house is getting a little old and we wanted to change it out. Another thing we wanted to do was to paint the outside of her house, but that will wait. While driving around looking at carpeting my wife and I discussed our summer travel plans.
